12 REASONS YOU MAY BE A maga MORON

You may be a maga moron if:

1 - You are more angry at a black mermaid in a cartoon than at an orange traitor in the White House

2 - You think dt is the second coming

3 - You get all your ideas and beliefs from Hannity and Carlson

4 - You believe the January 6th rioters were peaceful tourists visiting Congress

5 - You think government knows what's best for women's health and wellbeing, more so than women themselves

6 - You really feel Jews want to replace you

7 - You still think Lincoln was a criminal for freeing the slaves

8 - You believe in your heart that Fauci and Gates planted tracking devices in vaccines

9 - You are certain Covid-19 was a hoax anyway

10 - You believe the moon landings were faked

11 - Your family tree doesn't fork (Sorry Mr. Foxworthy but it fit too well to omit!)

WOMEN ARE BETTER THAN MEN

Naturally 50% of the World would agree with the title of this piece and many men too.

In fact, Joseph Conrad said, “Being a woman is a terribly difficult trade since it consists principally of dealings with men.”

So why are so many countries still ruled by men?

Surely there are lessons to be learned from the reigns of Indira Ghandi, Margaret Thatcher, Golda Meir, and most recently Angela Merkel.

Why are so many voters, women included, fooled by the false tropes of monthly troubles or pregnancy mood swings and emotional outbreaks?

In real life women are not only calmer than their male counterparts, scientific studies show men to be far more susceptible to stress and anger related early death.

And related to the above it is also a fact that, on average, women live longer than men.

An 82-year-old female President would have a better chance of living through her entire term than her male counterpart.

But when President Biden seeks another term at 82 you can count on the ‘right’ to bring out the ageism tweets.

Why is it when two World leaders appear on the stage together it is only the women who’s clothing and hair are critiqued?

This disparaging disparity not only demeans the entire female gender but holds the rest of us back in ways far more important than worrying about a pants suit or a perm.

For one this silly inane distraction gave us the Donald, a second-rate reality star and first-rate con man over a woman who already had a proven track record on the World stage as an intelligent capable leader.

We are well into our third century as a nation, and we are only now pointing with mocked amazement at our first female Vice President.

Earlier this year President Biden was incapacitated for a day while he underwent a routine colonoscopy. As expected, we were confronted with headlines touting Kamala Harris as our first female President!

It’s the end of the World, I tells ya!!!

So, why does our glass ceiling seem like concrete?

It started in pre-historic times.

Back then the physically strongest beings became the leaders.

The winner of any argument that arose was decided on that basis.

Women were generally weaker in that regard and therefore not capable of taking control of the pack.

Today’s animal kingdom still uses this criterion as we see with rams butting heads for the right to mate with the ewes of their choice.

Sadly, today that leads to butt heads being in charge.

But we lifted ourselves out of the jungle long ago and came to realize brains were as important as brawn, at least outwardly.

Too many still harbor the cave man mentality.

Many famous females of the past used their wits to entice men into doing their bidding. Cleopatra and Mata Hari come to mind in that respect.

Check out how GM, Pepsi, IBM, Lockheed Martin, Oracle & Kohl’s are doing.

Surely you can guess that every one of these companies are being run by very capable female CEOs.

Isn’t it time to start treating and respecting women as at least equal to, if not better than men?

And one last point, with the possible exception of a test tube or lab beaker every one of the over 7 billion humans walking around on Earth were born by women.

When men can boast that bit of biological magic perhaps the title of my next article will be MEN ARE THE EQUAL OF WOMEN!

LONGEVITY MENU

Remember going to the beach with your mom and dad?

Remember mom telling you to wait 30 minutes after lunch before going back in the water? She explained something about cramps and death!

Remember going in after 10 minutes anyway?

Well mom wasn't all wet and may have been ahead of her time according to an article in Women's World.

The article doesn't actually mention losing your life because of your choice of food and frolic at the shore but it does suggest a relationship between what you eat and your life expectancy.

When I was young I defied my mom's admonitions and lived to tell about it. But maybe I was lucky.

At that time I had devised a devilish correlation between personal injury and longevity.

I even imbued each injury with an amount of time I would lose in the future.

For example, stubbing my toe would cost me about 1 hour of life but busting it could mean 3 weeks. And don't even talk to me about breaking a leg!

Since there was no way to prove or disprove my theory it has withstood the test of time!

Of course I never mentioned what my starting date, or rather original ending date was. I believed I had a total of 100 years old as the standard. 

Quick Tangent: If you ask people how long they'd like to live many might say 100. But ask them again when they hit 99 and you can bet the number jumps a bit!

But back to the gist of the Women's World article; why would we wish to live our lives constantly changing our diets and food choices based on a 35 minute increased longevity possibility, or even the loss of an hour?

I'm reminded of the story of the lady whose consciousness, while she was on the operating table, floats up to heaven and is greeted at the gate by the guard.

He checks his ledger and asks, "Why are you here now?"

"I have no idea."  She says. "I guess the operation failed."

"No ma'am. You are scheduled for another 40 years on Earth!"

Suddenly she wakes up, rejuvenated in the recovery room. She decides that if she has 40 more years, she's going to have a complete makeover.

She gets a face lift, butt lift, boob job, and a tummy tuck. Basically she opts for the whole nine yards.

Upon leaving the clinic as her 'new self' she is hit by a bus and killed.

When she arrives back at the gates of Heaven she questions the guard.

His curt response: "Hey, I didn't recognize you!"

Bottom line, it's nice to know what to eat but it's also nice to eat what you like and what helps you enjoy life!

We're each on this Earth for a set time so grab your favorite meal and hit the beach!

GOP JEKYLL HYDE HYPOCRISY

The GOP claims to be our champions! They are for the rights of all Americans.

They also claim to be the party of family values and fiscal responsibility.

They can claim to be anything they like but in this world actions speak where words cannot!

Let's examine a few of these claims.

Err on the side of safety:

Lately it has become clear that even if you find yourself on Homeland Security’s ‘No Fly List’ (created under Republican President Bush) you still have the right to buy a gun.

What could go wrong?

Now to be fair not everyone on the list is a terrorist and some names that appear on it are obvious mistakes but should we not err on the side of safety?

If after a name that should not be on the restrictive list is found and removed the person will once again be allowed to purchase all the killing weapons his heart desires.

And defending your Second Amendment right to bear arms in a well ordered militia generally does not mean an AK47 in every bedroom.

It’s your right to vote!

One of our basic rights in America is the freedom to vote.

In this land of the free all citizens can choose support and vote for their favorite candidate.

Of course at the same time we must keep an eye out for voter fraud.

Remember the long ago joke about Chicago politics, Vote early and often?  It’s a rarity for something like that to happen in this day and age.

In fact there have been fewer than 10 proven cases of voter fraud in the last decade or so. The key word here is “Proven.”

The truth about voter fraud however does not matter to the GOP. What they have found is that since there are far more Americans registered as Democrats than Republican it would be good if fewer Democrats voted or were even able to do so.

They have used the trumped up voter fraud issue as a reason to block an inordinate number of voters from exercising their right to vote.

Not surprisingly those being disenfranchised are generally minorities in mostly Democratic districts.

The GOP has stopped early voting in many areas known to be Democratic and continue to fight against unions.

They have also made it harder for some districts to elect a Democrat by using redistricting or gerrymandering.

This immoral tactic rearranges voting areas so that fewer Democratic legislators can represent a State by positioning as many of their voters into one district while spreading the Republican voters into more.  The result has been shocking but productive for the GOP and there is no reason for them to curtail this action.

Once again the GOP is claiming to be on the side of the people while actually taking away their rights.

All the while claiming to be erring on the side of safety.

Family Values:

I believe nearly every family consists of at least one mother. And for those of you unfamiliar with the word a mother is usually a woman of the female persuasion.

I am being silly but want to make this point very clear because our current GOP has stirred up a great deal of confusion here.  They wish to cut off funding for anything related to the healthcare of women.

Their vendetta against Planned Parenthood is epic and has caused many of their weak minded idiot followers to resort to violence.

The bottom line is if you do not want women to be healthy then you are really not high on the list of people who value the family!

Fiscal Responsibility:

This one is not that hard to refute but still hard to make the Republican base understand since they consistently vote against their own best interest.

Lowering taxes sounds great until you realize that yours will not be going down unless you own a business, a large corporation, a small nation or at least a Congressman.

Republican leaders are not stupid, far from it. They have found the goose that keeps laying their golden eggs in the form of under educated voters and wealthy contributors.

As long as they keep the former in the dark the latter will continue to prosper and send a portion back to the politician.

A tiny amount of research shows the average American has fallen behind more and more ever since Reagan and his voodoo economic policy of trickle down bull shit was enacted.

The wealth gap in America is so astounding that it threatens to push America further into an Oligarchy that can never be peacefully turned around again.

All the while the GOP spews fiscal responsibility phrases they continue to ramp up military spending and try to get the funding for this from cut backs to Social Security and Medicare.

The brilliant strategy has been working even before Eisenhower warned us about it and there is no incentive for them to end it and turn off the spigot.

We must fight terror any way we can!

The GOP is so committed to fighting terror that they demand we get boots on the ground everywhere! Some of these war mongering hawks never put on a uniform in their lives and actively sought ways to avoid military service but your kids can fight for America.

So they never served but they can still help fight terror by enacting laws and hiring the right people to enact them, right?

One of the ways to fight terrorism in the world is to keep funds away from them.

ISIS took over many oil fields and with them the vast wealth that flows from the Earth.

But oil must be turned into money to buy weapons from unscrupulous dealers who only care about their bottom line.

So how can we stop this flow of oil to money to death?

In February of this year President Obama nominated Adam Szubin to be the man to stop this cycle, or at least impede its growth.

He has the support of all sides in Congress and both major parties feel he is the right man for the job.

So why is he not in place as of now?

Why is this man still waiting for a Congressional vote on his approval?

The answer cannot be that the GOP is erring on the side of safety this time.

In fact do yourself a favor and look back to see how many of President Obama's nominees have been approved by Congress. They are the least productive Congress in our history!

Perhaps the real reason they have done very little for America since President Obama took office in 2008 is that President Obama took office in 2008!

There are so many examples of hypocrisy in the Republican Party where they say one thing but not only mean something else they live for something else.

Just saying you are all for peace does not win you a Nobel Prize.

The Jekyll GOP has been incredibly adept at HYDE-ing their evil side for way too long.  It is time for the voters to fight for what is right and stop allowing these self-serving politicians from abrogating their responsibility on the tax payer dime.

Since they have shown themselves to be more Hyde than Jekyll we should show them the door.

HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?

Before you read anything into the posted photo on the right (and the right is definitely where the photo belongs) let me say that I truly have nothing against anyone rising to the top of their particular food chain and earning a great living.  We all strive to better ourselves and when we do we should not be looked upon with disdain or hatred.
Now of course most of us are human and as such we are always looking at the other side of the fence wondering how that guy keeps his lawn so much greener than ours.
But suppose we found out that our green-thumbed neighbor was actually stealing our seeds and fertilizer every night to pepper his field.
I make no determination as to how these gentlemen rose to the top of their unnecessary group (single payer would obsolete these vultures) but one still wonders.
But please do not think the pharma industry is the only one raping our coffers.
Bankers will not be in need of a telethon anytime soon, especially after we infamously bailed them out at the end of the Bush era. (error?)
Of the top earning bank CEOs the least compensated made $3.3 million last year and the average compensation was nearly $20 million.  (Looks like someone is going to demanding a raise!)
So let's juxtapose other Americans against the backdrop of the sweet elite of the pharmaceutical and banking industries and see how we're doing by taking a few items from the news.

1. Student Debt:  Over 70% of college seniors graduated with nearly $30,000 in student loans which cannot be forgiven in bankruptcy.  Before you can really get going many have to finish their schooling.  And in order to do so you may have to pay an awful large sum of money to the institution of your choice for that education.  Unlike other more civilized countries in the world where they realize their young are their future and they subsidize their college years we treat our young as annuities for the ivy covered halls of higher learning institutions.
2. Living in Poverty:  One in Seven American is living in poverty!  That's over 46 million humans and it's the largest number of people in that undesirable sect in over 54 years!  While some are living high off the hog they seem to be doing so by hogging all the high profits from their businesses while allowing their employees the pleasure of scrounging around the sty for the remains.  And on top of that they are getting all the tax breaks the rest of us can only dream about.
3. Minimum Wage:  The CEOs of America are doing very well thank you but too many are surviving, if it can be called surviving, on a meager $7.25 per hour.  Okay many States are realizing the futility of trying to eat and keep a roof over one's head on that tiny amount and have raised their local wage minimums up but there are many, mostly of the Republican persuasion who are trying to persuade legislators NOT to raise the minimum wage as it will kill businesses and jobs.
4. Unemployment:  While it has gone down under the leadership of President Obama, yes that's right, under his watch the rate is still an unsatisfactory 6.3%.  Sadly this doesn't tell the whole story and while many a pundit will point to this number as proof of a growing economy a more telling number would include how many are so discouraged they no longer even look for a job.  And the best number to show how dismal it is even for those WITH jobs is
5. Household Income: During the twelve years from 2000 to 2012 the median household income fell 6.6%.  Take a moment to let that sink in.  In 2000 the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a high of roughly 11,700.  It hit a new high of 13,350 in 2012!  While that's only an increase of 1½% the Dow has since hit 16,800 at which time it sported a nearly 4½% increase.  The bottom line is while Wall Street and it's Dow Jones top earners are topping their earnings almost daily average Joes may be scrounging for their next meal.  And speaking of households - 
6. Foreclosures:  While the foreclosure rate has dropped overall many States are still way above acceptable levels.  And 1 in 96 homes are foreclosed on and 19% of all homes are deeply under water financially.
7. Homeless Veterans:  An argument for a National embarrassment could easily be started with the fact that many of those who risked their lives for our country come home to trade their military rank for the pleasure of joining the ranks of the homeless.  Of the 634,000 homeless people in 2012 over 62,600 were veterans.  And that brings us to - 
8. Unemployed Vets: This number is even higher than the National Average.  Those who fought our wars from 2001 forward are considered Gulf War-Era II Vets.  Their rate was around 9% in 2013!  Uncle Sam wants YOU! That is until we don't anymore!
9. Women's Health:  There are so many articles on how women's health issues are under attack that it was hard to choose just one article to point to in the above link.  You may 'Google' on your own and spend weeks reading all the fun stories of 'right wing' elements in America forcing Planned Parenthood clinics to shut because they may use the word abortion, a procedure which by the way happens to be currently allowed by law.  Coincidentally the following Republican majority States have placed rules and regulations on the people who run women's clinics that would make a sailor's hair turn white:  Louisiana; Texas; Oklahoma; Iowa; Oregon; Washington; Kansas; Wisconsin and the list is not even complete.  And finally - 
10. Voter Rights: While all the above abuse has been going on we in America still have one trick up our sleeve, the right to vote out the bad leaders and elect ones who will better serve our interests.  That is if we can get to the polls and actually cast our ballot!  Knowing how dangerous an educated electorate could be it is no surprise that certain factions within the government and the lobbies that own them wish to keep the status quo, quo by placing more and more road blocks in our way as we attempt to vote.  Leading the charge to disenfranchise those among us who have had enough and simply will not take it anymore are: Texas; Ohio; North and South Carolina; Florida; Arizona; Alaska; Louisiana; Mississippi; Georgia; Virginia and Michigan.  Scott Walker of Wisconsin wanted desperately to join the list but went too far and the courts overturned his unfair voter ID law.

I guess when you look at all the things our leaders are doing to us rather than for us we really DO need these unbelievably rich pharmaceutical giants, just to get pills to ease our pain.
If only the damn co-pays weren't so high!

Suppression, It's Only Good in Cough Medicine.

I would like nothing better than having the entire world bow to my will.
To some degree the above egotistical wish is in all of us.
But the obvious truth is that will never happen no matter who we are or think we are.  And that is of course a good thing.
Throughout history many have tried it from Alexander the Great to the not so great would-be Alexanders of our time.

Should this be the face
of World domination?

All political or religious dictators want the same control over their environs and the degree to which they impose their will determines their fate as well as ours.
While typically the means by which these tyrants wield their power is physical force do not discount the use of mental anguish and fear of the other guy as an important factor.
And while World domination has become harder to even contemplate controlling one's own world, the sphere within which one lives, is still in play.
We see this tactic in use every day by the Fox network of right wing entertainment news media people as directed by their mogul, Rupert Murdoch. His agenda is and for quite some time has been domination of all he can get his fingers on or near.
We cannot turn a closed eye to the inherent dangers in allowing any one person or small cadre of people enough power to control every aspect of our lives.
The experiment that is America started with the idea that no one body of government should be allowed complete control without oversight and acceptance by two other bodies.  And even then rules and laws must pass inspection, the smell test if you will of our Supreme Court.
Sadly even that august body has become politicized in the wake of the increased polarization of our political system.

How could anyone hate and fear a

as to want her dead?

But we at least America has not yet devolved into the toilet of religious control as has happened in many Muslim countries.
While women in America are targeted by right wing politicians for unnecessary medical procedures to keep them in line and stop them from having a say in their own bodies at least we have not started to actively hunt them down and kill them.
This week in Pakistan a group of lower than low-life creatures even Neanderthals would be ashamed to be associated with who call themselves the Taliban boarded a school bus to seek out and shoot to kill 14 year old Malala Yousafzai whose crime was she desired an education.
The cowardly act of this religious political coalition of scum and the devil has made the world sit  up and take note, for at least the current news cycle.
Malala defied the odds and lived through the heinous act but both she and her father remain under death threats from the Taliban.
They are so afraid of allowing humans an education because they rightfully fear that knowledge will prove them unworthy of life on this Earth.
But they may have actually taught  larger lesson than the ones they have attempted to suppress.
It is too early to predict the outcome of this disgusting episode but already young girls around the world are declaring themselves to be Malala!
Not nearly as graphic but almost as desperate are the tactics being used by business owners in America basically threatening their employees with their jobs if they do not support the boss' candidate in the upcoming elections.
Demanding money or unpaid time off to make mandatory appearances at fund raisers for candidates NOT OF THEIR CHOICE is tantamount to suppression of ideas and ideals.
The use of fear of loss of income to turn someone's opinion is reprehensible and un-American.
But this IS America and therefore the act, considered to be free speech is protected under our enlightened law.
But do not mistake legal for moral.
Charles Dickens once famously stated in "Oliver Twist" that, "The Law is a ass!"
And the suppression movement of the right wing sector of the Republican Party has not stopped with company-wide threats.  They have actively sought out to destroy labor unions and other Democratic leaning voter groups.  And in case that failed they have attempted to stop obvious Democratic voters from even being allowed to cast their ballots.
They claim they are trying to stop voter fraud, a noble cause indeed.

But to date the only party that has successfully utilized voter fraud to steal elections has been the Republican Party most notably when George Bush was anointed king of the White House not by hundreds of millions of votes but by a 5 to 4 decision from a friendly Supreme Court as requested by one individual, Florida's State Attorney General Katherine Harris.

Anytime someone tries to stop someone else from expressing themselves; or bettering themselves as in getting an education; or from listening other view points be they supporting their own opinions or opposing them; or merely by voting as they themselves wish IT IS WRONG!
Suppression must be called out and reported every time it is used or attempted.
It must be declared as evil and un-American or America as we know it will cease to exist.

Pope, Female Priests & Pedophilia

Clearly the Pope is speaking the party line when he declares female Priests and pedophilia to be of equal sin.  Unfortunately for him his party line is almost as deaf to his decreasing number of followers as is the Republican Party's.
Both entities espouse a tenet of "just say no" although the political one will change when and if they become a majority.
As for the Vatican they are missing out on a fantastic opportunity of bringing in more members from which to gain power and money.  The World is comprised of more women than men and to summarily close them out because of some old fashioned beliefs not based in fact is so much more than absurd as to border on insanity.
Of course as a happy non-catholic I am on the outside looking in and frankly couldn't care less what the richest man in the entire history of the world wishes to do with his flock.  But really sir, how many rings can you wear at one time?
If he were to seek the council of a few wise men he might open up the doors and the opportunities to women.  We've already seen what a mess the male priests have made of things as they try to alter boys into men.
Singer-songwriter Helen Reddy had a hit single entitled, "I Am Woman" in which she roared her rebirth into society.  I do not profess to have her talent but I can put words together on occasion.  This is one of those occasions and it's dedicated to all people and groups of the world who feel the need to suppress the female of our species, such as the Taliban and many other so-called religious sects.
Your fear is unfounded and your principals are in error. Your demise is written lest you change your incredibly stupid ways.

It must sound naive but I have one question for women living in or under suppressive leadership - WHY?  Rise up; speak up; revolt or leave!  How can you live under such stupid regimes knowing how superior you are to your supposed masters?  Supplant or replace them and start anew.  The world; your children; and society will thank you for it!

Divided You Fall

Helen may have been ready (sorry about that one) but clearly America is not. Or more to the point our macho male driven society is not. Nor is the media. Neither are ready to give up their stronghold on power in this country.


Ask yourself who is in control of everything in our world. Do you know a woman in charge of something? Is there not a man above her? And if not then is there a board of directors to whom she must answer and is that board not run by men?


I am not against men, obviously far from it but I must ask this question. In this year of a black man being carried to the Presidency by other men and the media is he the best PERSON for the job? The clear answer is NO. He is even far from the best man but then we just lived, barely through an eight year ordeal of the WORST man for the job so he is at least a step up. He is also the end result of a major marketing and packaging job. This man has no true opinion or stance on any issue other than what he has been coached to say by his savvy handlers. His image is merely a façade.


So what happened?
Why is this novice Senator with a racist wife and racist backers being lauded as the greatest agent of change and savior of our country?
Well for one thing he is not Hillary.


You see we love our women and need them. But “their place is in the kitchen” or “taking care of the babies.” This is not me speaking, this was the answer given by many WOMEN, especially in the South when polled about their vote.
Women said that.
They are not far removed from the ‘barefoot and pregnant’ mentality. And if a woman is going to say that do you think her man is going to argue? Hell no. He is going to quietly sneak out of the place, ‘high-five’ his friends, grab a beer and look for a little poontang.

So what is the solution to this sexist based bias? Well ninety eight percent of the black vote went for Obama. Can those voters be called racist? After all most of them probably voted for him because he is black, or blackish. But if a white person voted against Obama for the same reason he’s labeled racist.

It is clear that in our country no matter what the black activists say you have a better chance to succeed if you are a black man than if you are a woman, of any color.
If ninety eight percent of the women in this country voted for any one individual THAT PERSON WOULD WIN. This is a fact. Of course the men and the media would call them sexist and whisper the "B" word that so many used for Hillary.

According to the last census there were 153 million women in America. Ninety eight percent of 153 million is 150 million. That same census showed 148.6 million men! So one million women could stay in the kitchen and clean the house and feed the baby and they would still win.

Clearly the only way for men to keep their power is to keep women down. And clearly that message is still the law of the land.

Perhaps it is time for women to take a page from the ‘book of black.’ Together women could make a difference in this country because most clearly the men have not done all that well. Words and rhetoric aside it is time for a real change.

The United States was built on the simple motto, “United we Stand.” So ladies, when you are finally ready repeat after me, I am woman, I am invincible, I am strong, I am woman!
