SELF-EVIDENT ISSUES!

Very few issues are black or white. That's why there are elections and horse races, etc.

Should one buy a hybrid or an electric car?

You could say that in the face of man-made climate change, using less polluting fossil fuels would seem a no-brainer. But, for various reasons, not everyone can. For example, businesses that haul heavy loads over very long distances would find it hard to work around the current limitations of electric batteries.

Anything that involves personal feelings or choices will be debatable.

But there are many issues that could and should be considered as self-evident!

Putin's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine exhibits a plethora of them.

• Should one nation invade another?
• Should anyone bomb a children's hospital and maternity ward?
• Should a 'cease-fire' be declared in order to flush out innocent citizens to be killed as they flee?

Clearly war is hell but committing war crimes and crimes against humanity the ultimate hell!

Another self-evident issue has been exposed by Putin's war, profiteering!

In a Capitalist society, prices for goods and services are controlled by 'supply and demand.'

But profiteering suggests that raising prices on necessary items and keeping them high without cause is simply wrong.

Gasoline prices rise with the increased cost for a barrel of oil.

We are all aware of that cause and effect.

But the speed with which the price rises would cause Einstein to scratch his head.

And the length of time it takes for prices to return after oil prices drop would make a snail appear fast.

An argument made by gas station owners at the pace in the latter example is that they must clear out the more expensive gas from their tanks before selling the more affordable commodity.

But one should ask why they did not use this absurd logic when future gas prices were rising while they still had less expensive inventory in their tanks!

And finally, I come to a self-evident issue that houses the heart of every black and white issue in America, politics.

• Should every citizen have the right to vote?
• And then should majority rule?
• Should women decide what is best for their body and health?
• Should anyone be above the law?
• Should elected public servants serve the public that elected them?
• Should everyone be taxed and be compelled to pay without loopholes?
• The very word, loophole means an unfair ambiguity or inadequacy in the law!
• Finds nothing wrong with excessive profits gained by profiteering.
• Should everyone be allowed to own assault rifles?
• Should any elected official suborn perjury or treason?
• Should any political party be allowed to exist merely to promote fake and dangerous news?

Sadly, we are living in a period of time where a loud and vocal minority of the country seems to espouse the wrong side for all of the above 'bullet points.'

Sadder still, the current minority party in Congress agrees with them!

And the saddest part is, that political minority is blocking every self-evident issue facing America today!

If America is to regain its status as the greatest country in the World, and not fall into obscurity as just another failed state on the path to dictatorship we must voice our opinion at the polls!

We must weed out the anti-Americans running for office in every State and locality.

Vote out the political party that:

• Wants to take away your right to vote
• Wants to rule even though they are a minority
• Wants to control women's bodies
• Fights to defend criminals in their party
• Thinks only of their reelection, power & wealth
• Fights against taxes on only the wealthy
• Argues against any gun control, even if used for massacres!
• Blocks investigating insurrection promoted by one of their own
• Allows members to praise war mongering dictators without censure!

While this is real life, I believe we can best express it by using a popular game show analogy.

I'll take:

"The best way to fix America this November."
